Oregon, IL Wedding Photography | Adrian & Miranda
When I first showed up on Adrian and Miranda's wedding day, I couldn't get over how stinkin' cute Miranda was! She was SO giddy about getting married to her best friend that she was bubbling over with excitement! There was even the possibility of rain starting at the exact time of their outdoor ceremony, but that was nothing compared to the fact that she was getting married!!! Laid-back, excited brides are the best, and you can't help but be infected with that kind of excitement.
Just look at those faces! <3
Not only did it not rain like it was supposed to, it ended up being a GORGEOUS day, with lots of warmth and sunshine!
Miranda's vows were one of my favorite things from their day! After declaring through tears that she vowed to love Adrian no matter what, she ended with, "Also, I like your face." I was so caught off guard that I actually loled! Haha!
Then it was time to get down, and get down they did!
I was literally juuuuuuuust about to leave, but the light in this field behind the restaurant was too good to pass up! I'm so grateful for A&M indulging me by hopping into some tall grass for these next couple of images! They're my faves from their day!
Congrats again, A&M!!!
Thanks to Carrie for second shooting this one with me, and for some behind the scenes shots!
In the image below you'll find the posture that keeps my chiropractor in business. Geesh! No wonder my back hurts all the time!
Wedding Dress: David's Bridal
Bridesmaid's Dresses: Azazie, Amber in brown
Suits: Men's Warehouse
Ceremony, Reception, Caterer: Maxson's Riverboat and Restaurant
DJ: Flipside DJs
What's your favorite wedding day memory
Adrian: Seeing Miranda for the first time that day (all dressed and ready for the ceremony).
Miranda: My bridesmaids prayed for me in the wedding room, and after we all sang "Bind Us Together" in the elevator.
Is there anything you would have done differently?
Adrian: Using men's warehouse for tux rentals was a bad decision.
Miranda: Have everyone travel in a pack to the correct destination for off site photos.
Best piece of advice for brides and grooms?
On your wedding day, DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE SMALL THINGS. And that translated to everything, because at the end of the day, we still got married!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We road tripped down to Tampa, FL!
Final Reflections:
At the end of the day, we got married, and it's great!!! I just had to step back and just enjoy the day
