I'm gonna let you in on a little secret: I don't believe your wedding day is about the photos. Sounds a little weird coming from a wedding photographer, doesn't it?

Let me explain.

Your wedding day is one of the most important, memorable days of your life. Promises will be made and beloved people will be present. How will you spend that one, important, unrepeatable day? With hours set aside for taking pictures, acting out someone else's artistic vision for your day? Or will you spend it with the people you love: your family, close friends, and your new spouse?

Now, don't get me wrong, just because I believe your weddings isn't about the photos doesn't mean I don't believe that your wedding photos aren't important. It's quite the opposite, actually. Your wedding photos are the single most important wedding investment you'll make. Your wedding photos are the actual memories of your day, the heirlooms you'll pass down to your grandchildren and hang on walls for generations to come.

So what the heck am I talking about?

Simply this: Your wedding doesn't exist for my art, or as a way to express my vision as an artist. A marriage would happen regardless of whether I'm there or not. Your wedding photos are the honest documentation of what happened on your wedding day.
