Get to know me:
01.
I've been married to my high school sweetheart, Seth, since 2004. He’s my best friend in the entire world and someone I never get sick of spending time with.
02.
I'm a mom to three adorable, hilarious, and amazing children (boy, girl, boy).
03.
I've been nicknamed "The Finder" because I have a knack for locating lost or misplaced items. One time I even found a single car key that we'd lost in Lake Michigan in 4 feet deep water.
04.
give me a book and a quiet spot and I’m all set.
05.
I’m a hardcore introvert (INFP’s unite!). I love meeting new people, but I’m not great at small-talk and tend to overshare to compensate for my awkwardness (apologies if you’ve ever been on the unsolicited receiving end of this).
06.
I love cooking from scratch. I don’t necessarily love baking, but My latest obsessions has been homemade sourdough bread (thanks covid!).
07.
My favorite shows are: The Office, Parks and Rec, Friends, Schitt’s Creek, and Doctor Who.
08.
I love traveling! Whether it’s road tripping to Florida, Camping in Colorado, or flying to another state for a wedding, I’m always up for an adventure!
A peek into my life.
My family is the reason I am so passionate about documenting these memories and creating these archives of your life.

In 2008, I taught myself how to use a dslr with the intention of becoming a wedding and family photographer. It wasn’t until after my first son was born in 2010, however, that I began to realize the value of what I was doing for my own family, and consequently for my clients.
Over the last 10+ years of being a photographer, my family has been the biggest source of inspiration and accountability for me to not only grow my skill, but to see the inherent value of photography as a time capsule. Photographs hold stories. Some are as simple as “here’s what we did today,” but others contain the depth of a book.
Below are some images of my own family that I’ve taken over the years. Each image I’ve included contains a personal story that may not be evident to anyone but me. Some of the images aren’t technically correct, or even “creative,” but to me they hold a wealth of meaning. To be honest, I even shed a few tears compiling these pictures because it all goes so. darn. fast.
My goal as I photograph your wedding or your family, is to empathetically approach it the same way I do my own family. Because I fully understand how fast it goes.

"Choosing a photographer was probably the hardest decision for me during the entire wedding planning process. I had met with 3 other photographers before meeting with Chrissy and she was definitely a breath of fresh air. All the other photographers wanted to show off their best photos and photo books; when I met with Chrissy the first question she asked me was how my husband and I met and what our story was."
"We recently received all of our wedding pictures and I'm obsessed. I might be a little bias but we had THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER!!!!!!!!! I mean Chrissy Deming literally is the best thing to ever happen to a camera. No joke. If anyone is looking for someone to become more than just your amazing photographer (she became a great friend and made us feel like family) for the day of your wedding then she is the person you want in your corner!"
"Chrissy is a rockstar! She was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. We started out pretty nervous in front of the camera during our engagement pictures, but she quickly made us feel comfortable and at ease during both our engagement and wedding pictures. She is an amazing professional who with quick thinking and some flexibility offered to drive us to our photo location before our wedding when our party bus was running an hour late to our pick up location."
