Lincoln Park South Pond, Chicago, Family Photographer

It’s always a good day when I can see and photograph this family! I’ve been photographing Mike and Erica for years, and this time we met at the Lincoln Park Zoo South Pond Nature Boardwalk, which is where I first photographed them for their engagement pictures all the way back in 2017! Their little darling Scarlett was so curious and eager to explore everything the boardwalk had to offer, and she was particularly interested in the wildlife around and in the pond (turtles, and fishes, and spiders, oh my!). I love to just let little ones mostly do their thing at shoots. It’s way more interesting than trying to force them to pose the whole time I’m with them!
