Chicago Engagement Photography | Nick & Katherine
I had so much fun running around the city with Nick and Katherine and getting to know them last month! One of the things I learned is that Katherine is a little crazy...like, repel down the side of the Wit, crazy. Eeek!! That's definitely not something I would have guessed about her when I first met her! There are three reasons I bring up that story: 1. I wish I were that adventurous instead of sitting here feeling nauseated just thinking about doing something like that, 2. Even though you can't really see it, the Wit just happens to be in the background of the picture below, and 3. Katherine repelled down the side shortly after meeting Nick and right before they were going to go on their first date. She texted him a picture of herself hanging over the edge asking him if he was sure he wanted to date a crazy person! Haha! I love it!!
Anyways, on to the pictures!!
I just love how romantic Chicago is in black and white. <3
After we wandered for a bit, we hopped on a water taxi and headed south.
The boat driver was so kind and when he saw that we were taking photos he turned the taxi so we could get a shot with the Sears Tower in the background! (Whatever man, I just can't call it the Willis Tower.)
Our water taxi trip ended at the Ping Tom Memorial Park.
These two were crushing it with the serious faces.
We ended the session back downtown at Hackney's, which is where N&K met. We were pretty famished after all the walking we had done, so you know we enjoyed some yumtown burgers together before I headed home!
Thanks for a wonderful day in the city, you two!! See you next month!!!!
