Klehm Arboretum, Rockford, IL Engagement Photography | Ryan & Mallory

Ryan and Mallory are getting married NEXT MONTH!! It was great to get to know them more at their Klehm Arboretum engagement session, and can't wait to spend more time with them when the make they make their vows! Their wedding date is July 24th, which is a great day to get married, if I do say so myself (Seth and I will be celebrating 12 years of marriage that day!)!!

One of the things I love about engagement sessions is that the couple learns how I operate, so on the day of their wedding they know what to expect from me. The last thing I want someone to worry about on their wedding day is the process of taking pictures! I think it also alleviates some of the awkwardness that most people feel when they're being photographed. Notice I said awkwardness people feel, not in how they look. It's such a weird thing to be professionally photographed, so feeling nervous or awkward at first is totally normal! Heck, even I feel awkward in front of the camera! Anyways, I digress...
