Medinah, IL Wedding Photography | Matt & Megan
I'm inching my way towards being all caught up for the year and these two have been so patient with me!! Megan and Matt were married on a GORGEOUS day back in October. Here are some of my favorite images from their day.
Love this behind the scenes of Seth leading Matt out with his eyes closed to have a special moment and time of prayer with Megan.
After the ceremony, we went to Meacham Grove for some pictures of just the two of them.
That hill behind them in the images below was a place that Megan liked to go to journal, pray, and spend some quite time with God. When Matt proposed, he did it on top of that hill. I'm so glad we could incorporate such a special place into their images!
Those girls + their dresses + their flowers + the beautiful fall backdrop = all the heart-eyed emojis.
Congrats, you two!! Blessings!

Favorite wedding day memory?
Matt : Seeing Megan walk down the aisle.
Megan : Being announced as husband and wife for the first time.
Is there anything you would have done differently?
Both : No, the day was absolutely wonderful!
Best piece of advice for brides and grooms?
Both: Finalize details as soon as possible so that you don't have very much to worry about during the week of the wedding. Most of our major details were figured out 2-3 weeks before the wedding and it made the week of the wedding much more enjoyable and stress-free.
Honeymoon?
We went on a mini-moon to Chicago and we will spend a week in Mexico in December.
Final Reflections:
We are so grateful to all of the family and friends who came to celebrate and made our day special. We are truly blessed!
