Two Brothers Roundhouse Wedding Photography | Drew & Christie
It was a beautiful May day when these two tied the knot. The weather here in the Midwest has been such a stinker this year and it's rained at about half of my weddings so far, but on their day there was not a rain cloud in sight. But enough about the weather. How about some pictures?
First Look time!! C&D decided that Drew would be the one to walk up to Christie. I love that they chose to make this something that would fit their personalities! And how adorable is Christie's face in these images?
I can now add "photographed a 21-person wedding party" to my resume. BOOM.
I posted about this over on Facebook, but I love candid images where the the bride and groom aren't paying attention to me. The entire day is spent being the center of attention and smiling for a plethora of cameras and cell phones (and ipads...). While it's an incredibly happy day, it can be exhausting! I love finding the moments where the couple is just enjoying their day without the pretense of posing for a picture. They're completely relaxed and unguarded, fully basking in the reality that they are now married. <3
Congrats again you guys! :D
Special thanks to Gisselle for helping me out with this wedding!

What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?
It was difficult to chose just one memory. We both were so happy to share our union with family and friends we hadn't seen in a long time.
If you could, is there anything you would have done differently?
We wish we had more time to visit with everyone who came to help us celebrate. We recently heard of a wedding where they had a cocktail hour before the ceremony, which allowed the bride and groom a lot more visiting time with their guests.
Best piece of advice for brides and grooms?
Make a list of things you both care about and stick to only doing those things. Just because it's tradition, does not mean you have to do it.
Where will you go on your honeymoon?
We're taking on the Pacific Northwest at the end on July!
Final Reflections:
Invest in the things you care about the most for your wedding day... like an incredible photographer! :)
