Heather & Matt : Chicago, IL Wedding
The more weddings I shoot, the more I'm absolutely convinced that I'm in the right profession. It should go without saying, and I realize how cliche it is, but whatev's, I'm going to say it. I LOVE love. With all the junk and hate in this world, it's easy to be discouraged and jaded. But every time I leave a wedding, I feel so blessed to be able to consistently experience so much love. And the best part of it all is that I get a front row seat throughout the entire day. I have the best job. :) Matt and Heather's wedding was another amazing reminder to me of how wonderful it is to be a wedding photographer. Their love and genuine concern for everyone is a beautiful thing. On the drive home, Seth and I couldn't help but talk about how caring they are! It was a privilege to capture their beautiful day. :)
Matt and Heather chose to see each other before the wedding. Seth's perspective...
Those school buses in the background? That was our transportation!!
The ceremony was at the Swedish American Museum in Chicago.
Heather, you are one of the sweetest people EVER.
Uncommon Ground has an AMAZING garden on their roof where they grow all sorts of yumminess to use in the food they cook! It was unbelievable!
This has to be my favorite moment from any wedding ever. Someone put together a slideshow for Matt and Heather to watch during their reception, which contained footage from a camera that Matt hid while he proposed to Heather. It was an amazing experience. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house!
Congratulations, Matt and Heather!!! You are two of the most caring people we've had the opportunity to work with and it was an honor to be a part of your wedding!!!
